STEAM Day
STEAM Day is an event that is Robotics team runs once a year for elementary schools in our area. The number of elementary students that take part in STEAM Day consist of around 550 students or more.
What Does The Day Look Like For The Students?
We start off our day by introducing ourselves and explaining what STEAM and robotics are. Then we jump right into the first activity which, in 2022, was a caption of this slogan for robotics. Quickly after we jump into one of my favorite activities which are called Robotics Unplugged String Activity!

Robotics Unplugged
Here you will see an example of elementary students that were part of STEAM Day doing the unplugged activity.
TinkerCad
After an amazing activity, we go into teaching them some computer engineering in tinkercad.
After teaching them how to use the basic concepts of a breadboard, battery, wiring, shorts and how to wire a motor. We make the students apply what they just learned to my favorite activity of the whole day.

Paper Structure
After the motor activity, we jump into the fun paper structure activity which involves a lot of hands-on work and the designing process.
Kahoot
Of course, every fun day involves a math Kahoot! What's not fun about that.
Windmill Activity
The windmill activity is are final activity, which I would say takes the most work out of all the activities and applies all the knowledge that they learned on STEAM day to this activity.
