About ME
Hi, my name is Jordan Carvalho. One of my interest/hobbies is Mountain biking, in the Don Valley, and another is that I am on a curling U18 Ontario government-sponsored team, 2022 -2023. We had made U-18 provincials and came 3rd and same with Ontario winter games in 2023. A fun fact about my family is that we are all lactose intolerant, but we all love cheese! I know right that sounds crazy, but it is true. My family on my dad's side is Indian and my mom's side is Chinese. I know right, a rare mix. I received the Bishop's award, from altar serving in my church, and I am a national lifeguard. One unique experience that happened to me, was that I was almost was attacked by a dear when mountain biking! I am not talking about a small deer, this deer was massive, its antlers were the size of my whole body! The reason why I choose STEAM was so that I can reach my goal, to be one of the best AI coders in the world.

In STEAM for Religion, while still teaching Religion, they made Religion a very hands-on experience by teaching their STEAM students to use Photoshop and proving other skills like creative thinking, and graphic design. What I am trying to say is that STEAM is an amazing opportunity, where they teach you real-life skills that would help you exceed in the future.

Spiritual Journey
Paul the apostle says what we see now is like looking through a glass darkly. When describing the mysteries of God we speak about what is unspeakable. In awesome silence we believe. And because we believe, we respect and honor others and ourselves as beings made in GodÂ’s image and likeness. The most exciting and wondrous journey in this life is prayer because it offers love. My goal in life is to be the best person that I can be and achieve my full potential in life.
